P Diddy reportedly had his Twitter account hacked into in the early hours of the morning.

The rapper used Twitter frequently, providing fans with updates throughout the day.

But a fake tweet on his account that purported to be Diddy advertising a mobile phone store in New York alerted them something was up.

The post read: “Go cop your new phone from Verizon Wireless… in Tribeca.”

Diddy aka Sean Combs himself noted the post within minutes and informed his fans.

He tweeted: “Don’t go cop no new phone from nowhere in Tribeca. Someone tried to break into my Twitter. lol (sic).”
